Men of Issachar who understood the times. Today, God is calling for men who understand the times – men who will pray with godly authority for heavens kingdom to invade the kingdoms of this world.

Men of Issachar, Aglow International

Men of Issachar is now an intricate part of Aglow International. With a discerning and understanding of the times, men are invited to join together to bring a godly influence and change their sphere of influence by being a carrier of His Presence in the earth.

There are Men of Issachar groups established and meeting regularly in Peterhead, Llandudno, Ayrshire, Edinburgh, Southport, St Helens, Manchester, Gateshead, Yorkshire and Isle of Man with more groups in the making as men are getting together to pray in various regions across the country.

We are dependent on the leading of the Holy Spirit. We believe it is a movement of God, coming alongside those who have a heart for evangelism, to train, equip, support and encourage them in outreach.

Men of Issachar is Apostolic and prophetic, a Holy Spirit led movement for men to reach out to men, as Aglow has sought to minister to women for more than 30 years.

Donnie McLean

Donnie is Area Co-ordinator for Men of Issachar in Scotland and President of Men of Issachar, Ayrshire, Donnie also oversees groups in Edinburgh and Fort William.

He has a vision to see many such groups established in Scotland as part of the Aglow International Global Movement. His heart is to enable men to be raised up into their full calling and destiny in God.

Vernon Fuller

Vernon is Area Co-ordinator of Men of Issachar in Merseyside and serves as President of St Helens and Southport.

Vernon is passionate about Jesus and the freedom and abundant life that Jesus has given him and he loves to share that passion with others.

Vernon is a passionate musician and worship leader in Aglow and his local church.

Martin Christofferson

Martin is Coordinator for Men of Issachar Scotland North and President of Peterhead MOI group.

He has a heart to reach out to the lost and lonely, the broken and needy in his area. Assisting in practical ways, he reaches out with a helping hand as men leave addiction centres, helping to furnish their homes and find them jobs, transforming and restoring lives through the hope that is found in Jesus.

Martin encourages men to attend the MOI meetings and his vision is to see more MOI groups develop in the North East of Scotland through the fruit of transformed lives.

St Helens, Merseyside, Men of Issachar

One Tuesday night, five of our men joined together to pray for St Helens in a local coffee shop.

We talked for a few minutes about our concerns in the area including a high rise multi-storey car park which was a hotspot for suicides. There aren’t many families in the town who haven’t been affected by it.
